Finding Strength in Stillness,
and Ease in Effort

My teaching lives in the space between structure and softness, movement and stillness, discipline and ease. Before I found yoga, I spent much of my life in motion as a competitive gymnast and cheerleader, which gave me an early understanding of strength, rhythm, discipline, and the intelligence of the body.

Over the past decade, my practice and teaching have continued to evolve through dedicated study, personal inquiry, and the guidance of teachers including Nikki Vilella, Ame Wren, Daniel Max, and Tim Kelleher.

My classes are influenced by my personal movement and meditation practices, along with continued study in Iyengar, Kula, and Katonah yoga. These lineages shape the way I sequence, cue, and hold space—offering students a practice that is intentional, steady, and rooted in awareness.

In class, I offer a steady, intentional practice that weaves breath, movement, alignment, and moments of quiet reflection. My hope is to create a space where you can move with curiosity, listen more deeply, and leave feeling grounded, clear, and connected to yourself.

Heated Flow - JP Centre Yoga

This vinyasa based class balances effort, awareness and breath. Practicing in a heated room allows and encourages heavier sweating to flush toxins from the system and wring out the stress. Heating the room to match our internal body temperature provides added safety by warming the muscle tissue and can further enhance neurological, cardiovascular, digestive, and immune function.

Yoga at Home

Restorative Yoga

This all-levels, meditative class invites you into calming, quieting poses held for longer periods and supported by props to encourage full-body release and deep relaxation. Designed to help you unwind from your day, the practice supports nervous system regulation, stillness, and inner balance. More attention is placed on the facilitation of stillness for deep relaxation, muscular release, increased breath capacity, and the quieting of the mind.

Yoga Class

Hot Power Flow - Down Under Yoga

Powerful, athletic, and ablaze with tempo, this yoga class will push you to your edge with a gritty power experience in 90+ degree heat and humidity. Designed to explore your physical, emotional, and mental limits, you'll cultivate focus, curiosity, and compassion so that what starts as a struggle becomes a source of self-knowledge. The sustained pace and vigor does not include breaks so students should self-regulate and take breaks.

Flow - Down Under Yoga

Flow is a challenging, joyful Vinyasa practice that connects movement to breath in a vigorous sequence of yoga poses. The class cultivates deep physical opening and absorption of the mind in the rhythm of breath and body. Flow classes introduce inversions, more challenging backbends and arm balances and move at a moderate to fast pace, so knowing the basics is helpful.

“Lindsy I appreciate so much about your classes and they are very special to me. Your energy is always amazing, nurturing and zen. I love how you integrate what is going personally in your life into them.  The flow is the perfect intensity and works great for a beginner or someone more advanced.

They are super healing and I always feel amazing during and after."
